Gameplay is the first and foremost problem facing any console based first person shooter. With multiplayer features never yet exploited in a Dreamcast title, Quake III may have a lot to offer. Quake III Arena made an impressive showing in the PC market and now that it’s been brought over to the Dreamcast, it will get a chance to do the same. However, the question that begs to be asked is whether or not the lack of gameplay improvements can be outweighed.
